Champagne Lipsmack is a four-piece alt/pop/rock band hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is fronted by the charismatic Serena Kiddy on vocals, guitar & keys, with high energy electric guitarist Jonathan Haggard. Serena and Jonathan’s musical journey began on a vintage pontoon boat on Lake Havasu City during the Memorial Day holiday in 2022. Their songwriting and music is deeply influenced by a strong desire to unite people and build a community of support and positivity, their shared love for dogs and animals, and a connection to the earth. For them, this connection ranges between performing their music while floating on the water, to a secret place in the middle of the Nevada desert where they write and record their songs.
The band’s sound is reminiscent of influential acts such as the Foo Fighters, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and Tom Petty.
Joining Serena and Jonathan are Tim Sorbs on drums and Rigo Florez on bass. Together, they released their first single “Valentino” on Valentine’s Day 2024, with a second follow up single “Can’t Rain All the Time” released on July 17th, 2024. Champagne Lipsmack has a number of singles slated for release throughout 2025.
